As the design lead for Kodak’s B2B Trade Projects and the Commercialization Manager for Exchanges in Kodak’s Worldwide Information Systems, Duane led the design of Kodak’s “Partner Site” B2B trade application which has thousands of users and sales exceeding a billion dollars per year.
Previously, he led Kodak’s Enterprise Resource Planning Electronic Data Interchange development that won a GE Excellence Award for “creative, innovative, courageous and heroic problem solving” and a Supply Chain Systems Magazine award.
He has been published in Dealer Communicator in a series of articles on Electronic Data Interchange and Bar code processing and has been quoted in CIO Magazine, B2B Magazine and Internet World.
Duane has spoken at various industry conferences, including the closing keynote speaker for the Graphic Communications Association.
The North American Graphic Arts Association presented Duane the Favat Award for leading a cross-industry team on eBusiness.
He helped lead a Business Unit initiative which currently has over 90% of orders received electronically and reduced expense run rate by half a billion dollars per year.
With a love for developing eBusiness strategies and processes using a wide range of eBusiness solutions, he enjoys taking the process “from soup to nuts,” from strategy to implementation.
